We're getting Married!

❤️ Our Love Story Timeline 2016 — The First Meeting Anthony and I first met in 2016 through mutual friends at school. At the time, we were simply part of the same friend circle, not knowing that later on we would fall in love. May 2019 — Our First Group Date Our first outing together happened on May 11, 2019, when we went on a group date to Dadeland Mall with our best friends Nicole and JP, who were already dating. That day would end up being the start of everything. Summer 2019 — Getting Closer In June 2019, Anthony graduated high school, and we started spending much more time together that summer. Most of our hangouts included: Movie nights 🎬 Dinner dates 🍝 Parties 🎉 It quickly became clear we loved spending time together. August 23, 2019 — “Will You Be My Girlfriend?” Just a few days after I started my senior year of high school, on August 23, 2019, the four of us went out again for dinner and a movie. After the movie, we stopped at a small arcade that had a photo booth. During the photo booth photoshoot, Anthony asked me: “Will you be my girlfriend?” And of course… I said yes. ❤️ From then on, Nicole and I spent most weekends hanging out with our boyfriends. We always joked that we were best friends dating best friends. Christmas 2019 — Meeting the Parents On Christmas Day 2019, I introduced Anthony to my parents. From then on, he became a regular at my house for our movie nights—usually watching scary movies, our favorite genre 👻 March 2020 — Long Distance (Even While Close) When COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, everyone had to stay home. Even though we couldn’t see each other, we spent hours every day on FaceTime, sometimes even leaving the call on overnight while we slept. June 2020 — Graduation🎓 I graduated from high school in June 2020. Once restrictions lifted a bit, we began seeing each other more. Fall 2020 - 2021— College I start attending my community college with one of my best friends Gaby, where I argue are one of the best times we've had. March 26, 2022 — Noche Joins the Family 🐈 On March 26, 2022, Anthony surprised me after a long shift with the best gift I had ever received: our cat, Noche. He was sitting right in the passenger seat waiting for me. December 30, 2022 — Our First Trip Together🚗 We took our first trip together to Melbourne, Florida to celebrate New Year’s with our friends Jasmine and Ian, who are also a couple. 2023 — The Year of Trips ✈️ Because we had so much fun on that trip, we kept planning more: February — Nicole's birthday trip to Fort Lauderdale April — My birthday trip to Tampa and Orlando May — JP’s birthday trip to Fort Myers August — Our 4-Year Anniversary Cruise to the Bahamas. January 2024 — A New Chapter in Texas Toward the end of 2023, Anthony and I made a huge decision: we would move out of state together with his parents. We left Florida—where we had lived our entire lives—and moved to Austin, Texas in January 2024. We lived with his parents Adriana and Jorge while we found jobs, bought a car, adjusted to life in a new state. Soon we were enjoying concerts, hosting friends, and traveling back to Florida to see everyone. January 2025 — Our First Apartment In January 2025, we finally moved into our own apartment in Austin. It felt like the beginning of a new chapter of independence together. September 21, 2025 — The Proposal 💍 On the night of September 21, 2025, Anthony and I went for a simple walk around our apartment complex. During that walk, he asked the question: “Will you marry me?” After six years together, I finally became a fiancée. After celebrating with friends and family, we chose the perfect date for our wedding: August 22, 2026 in Austin, Texas — the city where our new life together truly began.
