The Whitewater Center is a great outdoor adventure park. You could spend anywhere from 2-8 hours here. Activities include whitewater rafting, rock climbing, ziplining, paddleboarding, ropes course, etc. Parking is $6 and you pay per activity or for a day pass. Check out their website for more details!
When in NC, why not go for a hike? Crowder's Mountain offers two easy hikes for all. There is a 4 mile hike that will take you 2 hours to complete or a 6 mile hike that will take you 3 hours to complete.
Hungry but don't know what you want to eat? Or maybe you're hungry and want to eat everything...Optimist Hall is a food hall that has everything from pizza, tacos, ramen, dumplings, grilled cheese, empanadas, gelato, etc. There's also a bar! It's our favorite place to bring anyone who visits!
NASCAR anyone? Charlotte's got the Hall of Fame just around the corner to your hotel in Uptown!
Mint Museum Uptown houses the internationally renowned Craft + Design collection, as well as outstanding collections of American, contemporary, and European art. Admission $15. Approximately 2-2.5 hours.
Breweries anyone? South End is a quick uber ride to a great area filled with many breweries, including Suffolk Punch, Triple C, Sycamore, Lenny Boy, Wooden Robot, Charlotte Beer Garden and more!
Carowinds is the Disney World of the Carolinas! Lots of rides and shows all available in this theme park that is located in both North and South Carolina. Tickets are cheaper online but you can purchase at the park.
