FAQs

Question

RSVP

Answer

You can RSVP online or by mailing back your RSVP card. All RSVPs need to be returned by September 1st.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we're only inviting our closest friends and family. All guests will be listed on the invitation. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love kids, we've decided to have an adults-only celebration. Only children participating in the wedding will be included. Take this time to enjoy an evening to yourself.

Question

Attire

Answer

Semi-Formal: dresses, dressy separates, or a suit and tie. We want you to be comfortable, but please no jeans. We also ask that guests avoid wearing colors reserved for the bride: cream, ivory, or white. The ceremony and reception will be inside.

Question

Parking

Answer

The venue has it's own parking lot surrounding the building. There will be plenty of free parking for everyone.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:00. Guests are welcome to start arriving at 3:30. Please find a seat by 3:45. If you happen to arrive after the ceremony starts we kindly ask that you wait outside until the ceremony finishes.

Question

Unplugged Ceremony

Answer

We have hired an amazing photographer so you all can be present and enjoy the ceremony. For this reason we ask that you please put your cellphones away during the ceremony. You are welcome to take pictures during the reception and we would love for you to share those with us! Details on how to do this will be located at your table.

Question

Where should I sit?

Answer

We will have some reserved seats at the front of the ceremony for immediate family. Please sit on either side for the ceremony. We will not have a seating chart for the reception. There will be a few tables that are reserved. Please fill in the other tables how you would like.

Question

The Menu

Answer

Dinner will be catered by Whatcha Smokin BBQ. If anyone has any dietary restrictions please reach out to us prior to the RSVP deadline of September 1st.

Question

Bar

Answer

There will be a cash bar at the venue. Cocktails, beer, and wine will be available for purchase at the bar. Water, lemonade and pop (Darius says soda) will be available to guests at no charge from the bar. Due to the venue policy and regulations outside alcohol, food and other drinks are not allowed inside of the venue. There is a fine for not following this policy.

Question

Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would appreciate if all photos and videos are not shared until the day after the wedding. We hope everyone will be present and too busy enjoying the day to post anything while at the wedding.

Question

Reception End Time

Answer

All good things must come to an end, and so will this celebration. The reception will end at 10pm and all guests will need to leave the venue at that time.

Question

Can we leave our cars overnight?

Answer

Yes cars can be left at the venue overnight, but they must be picked up by 10am the next morning.

Question

Hotels

Answer

Please see the travel section of our website for information on booking a hotel. Some nearby hotels offer shuttles to and from the venue. Please check with them for more information.

Question

Wedding Registry

Answer

There is a link to our registry on this website. There are a variety of items on there including ways to add some extra special touches to our honeymoon. A gift table and card box will be at the venue as well.
