Cassondra: We both swiped right, twice. Ask Darius if he remembers that first fumble lol. Darius: I honestly don't remember that first "swipe" but to be fair, it was my first time in the online dating realm. I also didn't fully understand how overwhelming and underprepared I was for the whole thing. So the hiatus from the dating apps was to focus and prepare myself for finding finding my forever person. After some soul searching, I decided to jump back in. I downloaded Hinge and came across a picture of a gorgeous woman with a very inviting smile. In the picture, there was this particular aura about it in which I could not turn away from. Even though she was clearly out of my league, I just had to take a chance. We matched, the conversations flowed effortlessly and then she "politely" let me know that this wasn't our first time of talking. She told me a few things in which the only way she'd know is if we had actually talked previously. Talk about complete embarrassment! It will probably be something that will forever be held against me (which is understandable). With that being said, I really do appreciate the fact that she gave me a chance.

Over the past three years we have shared a lot of amazing adventures together. Some memorable favorites were the trip to Chicago to see Beyonce, he missed an amazing opportunity to make me a Feyonce at Beyonce lol. We ran off to Jamaica and spent an amazing week laying next to the ocean, another missed opportunity to propose lol. Concerts and food festivals around town, exploring new restaurants and trying disgusting drinks. Starting our own holiday traditions to merge families. All things leading up to the amazing proposal date. We can't wait to continue our adventures and are excited to announce we are heading to Europe for our honeymoon!
