Stillwater, MN, is a charming historic town along the St. Croix River, known for its picturesque setting and vibrant downtown. Visitors can enjoy shopping in over 50 unique boutiques, savor local cuisine at quaint restaurants, or take a scenic stroll across the iconic Stillwater Lift Bridge. There's also plenty to do outdoors with activities like biking the Brown's Creek Trail or exploring the local wineries and breweries. Stillwater is one of our favorite places to visit on the weekend and Rustic Roots Winery is located just to the North. Highly recommended.
White Bear Lake, MN, is renowned for its scenic lake views and small-town charm, offering a perfect blend of outdoor activities and local culture. Guests can enjoy boating or kayaking on the expansive White Bear Lake, explore the bustling downtown with its shops and eateries. There's also the Tamarack Nature Center for a tranquil nature walk or to engage in educational programs about local wildlife. White Bear Lake is where we had our first date. Our favorite restaurants in the area are Cabin 61 and Brickhouse. There are 2 good wineries located just to the North of town: Two Silo Winery and 7 Vines Vineyard.

Guests can enjoy extensive shopping at Rosedale Center, one of the Twin Cities' premier malls, or dive into nature at the expansive Central Park, which features trails, gardens, and a large lake for fishing or paddleboating. The city also hosts the Minnesota State Fair nearby, providing seasonal fun, and the Roseville Skating Center for year-round ice skating and hockey activities. Roseville is the town we call home, and we live near several wonderful parks. There are several breweries and restaurants nearby as well as the Rosedale Mall.
