We know times are (still) somewhat weird, but we're looking forward to celebrating our wedding with you all as safely as possible. Read more about how we plan to do so below. xo
Question

Do I need to get tested before the wedding?

Answer

Short Answer: if you are unvaccinated by June 2021, yes. New York State requires all unvaccinated guests to provide a negative Covid19 PCR test three days prior to our wedding day or a negative Rapid test within 6h of the wedding. We're happy to provide resources for quick turnaround testing in NYC, but will require a negative test result to share with our vendors in order for you to participate in our special day. Please note that a negative test result is ONLY required if you're unvaccinated. Feel free to send your negative test result via email to AndTheOscarGoesToCassie@gmail.com by June 11th 2021. With eligibility for vaccinations currently expanded to all adults, we're hopeful that our guests will have access or have already had access to vaccinations ahead of our wedding day.

Question

I'm vaccinated, do I need to get tested before the wedding?

Answer

Short Answer: if you are fully vaccinated (both shots or single J&J shot) by June 2021, no. Congrats on the vaccine! A historic and incredible milestone! New York State law states that if you are fully vaccinated ahead of June 2021, you do not need to provide a negative Covid19 PCR test to join in on the party. However, we will require proof of vaccination (a photo of your vaccination card, you might have one from your celebratory social media post), to be sent to us and shared with our vendors in order to be together safely. Feel free to send your proof of vaccination via email to AndTheOscarGoesToCassie@gmail.com at any point ahead of June 2021. With eligibility for vaccinations currently expanded to all adults, we're hopeful that our guests will have access or have already had access to vaccinations ahead of our wedding day.

Question

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

To keep all of our guests as safe as possible, we're asking guests to wear masks upon entry and upon exit of our venue. You're welcome to bring your own mask, but we will also have disposable masks available for use on the day of our wedding.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors?

Answer

We are very fortunate to have both indoor and outdoor space available for us at our venue (The Greenpoint Loft). The main room is quite spacious for our guest count and includes a stairwell that leads to a large outdoor terrace with necessary capacity to keep our guests comfortable. Not to mention a stellar view of Manhattan.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your babies! However, to give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please visit the Registry tab of our website to view our Registry + Honeyfund.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please let us know ahead of time so we can make arrangements.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking garage located at 21 India Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222. The parking garage charges hourly and is a 5 minute walk to our venue. Free street parking is also available around and near our venue, The Greenpoint Loft.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

To allow for quick rides to/from the ceremony, we recommend our guests stay in Williamsburg or Greenpoint, in Brooklyn. Ubers and cabs are recommended as personal transportation to the ceremony.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! Please visit the Schedule tab of our website to view the weekend's events, but keep in mind events may change to better suit our new wedding weekend. With our wedding on a Friday, we're looking forward to a full weekend of celebrating in the name of love.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please visit the RSVP tab of our website to check to see if we have included a date with your invite.
