Our Story
How They Met
Cassie and Michael met their senior year of high school at FVHS, where they were in two classes together. They became closer towards the end of senior year, as the two started to attend the same youth group. At a church camp, their romance started and they went on a first date a couple days later. The couple became official on June 1, 2019 after freshman year of college. They credit their love to the Lord, as they strive to be a good brother/sister in Christ to one another.
The proposal
Michael asked Cassie to marry him at their favorite beach in Laguna, Crescent Bay, on October 13, 2023. Michael’s mom and sister set up the beautiful proposal with the help of two of Cassie’s best friends. The answer was yes! The couple was able to enjoy their time together on the beach before heading to a celebratory dinner. They were then joined the next day by some close friends and family for an engagement party planned by Michael with the help of both sets of parents.
