Maid of Honor
We shared a womb and a room and our lives for 29 years! Best friend and twinzy, agreed to the role of my Maid of Honor when we were about 12.
Best Man
Despite his penchant for injury while around me, Justin has been the voice of reason in my life for the past seven or so years. He's typically the one I go to when I have a terrible wonderful idea and I need someone to tell me that my family would miss me if I blew myself up. Also he's about 90% of the reason I ever go on hikes and is easily the best (board) gamer friend I have.
Bridesmaid
My older sister. An amazing woman who I admire greatly for her lifestyle of adventure and fun! Also her wit and intellect sometimes drive me crazy, but I love the way she looks at all sides of an issue. She is gorgeous, caring, a wonderful listener, and I couldn't imagine this day without her!
The Other Best Man
Katie is the extra sister that I never wanted and somehow turned into my best friend. I'm convinced that her and I hanging out is the sole reason that Justin became the voice of reason. Somebody had to contain the poorly planned crazy that we produce. Our friendship has been marked by extremely late-night conversations about everything and nothing, hours of sewing armor padding, and shrapnel.
Bridesmaid
Have to admit, didn't think we'd hit it off when we first met. Thankfully we're both too stubborn for that! Adventures, road-trips, and hours long phone conversations later, here we are!
Groomsman
David and I have had a very special connection ever since we met, we both have fabulous hair and that just can't be beat. That aside he's always been an awesome listener, has been incredibly supportive over the years and is just generally a fun guy who's easy to connect with. Oh and his beard is amazing, he's got me beat in that department.
Bridesmaid
We met at a garage church gathering, she then put up with me invading her house for hours at a time just doing life together. We have shared many tears on her couch together (mostly mine) and had even more belly laughs! I am so thankful she agreed to stand with me on this day!
Groomsman
I met Andy two or three? years ago? who knows, time is relative. At this camp, nothing like full circle. I'll admit it, he freaked me out a little bit at first when he randomly hugged me, but I quickly came to accept and embrace (forgive the pun) this part of him. Andy is one of the most outgoing and spontaneous people I know and it's pretty awesome. He's always enthusiastically supportive and up for something wild. Relatively speaking of course.
