FAQs

We couldn't be more excited to celebrate with you all!! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately due to limited capacity at the Rowing Club, we will not be allowing children at our ceremony or reception (except immediate family). We are planning to have a family friendly event on Sunday, and look forward to seeing all the kiddos!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail/semi-formal attire suggested. Most important: Our ceremony will be toes-in-the-sand on the beach in front of the San Diego Rowing Club. We met on the beach, got engaged at the beach, and are so excited to say I Do on the sand! We also will have place to keep your shoes, and brush the sand off following the ceremony. The reception will be on the patio surrounding the rowing club. We will be outdoors for both ceremony and reception, expect warm summer weather!

Question

Is there parking at the San Diego Rowing Club/Garty Pavilion?

Answer

There is NO parking at the San Diego Rowing Club/Garty Pavilion. Parking in Mission Bay in the summer can be pretty hairy to say the least, plus we're all here to have a good time! We recommend Uber or Lyft and planning ahead for the summer traffic!

Question

Is there a shuttle available?

Answer

There is a shuttle to the SD Rowing Club for with space only for the guests staying at Paradise Point, which will depart at 3pm sharp. The pick up point will be in the guest parking lot near Barefoot Bar & Grill. We recommend that anyone not staying at Paradise Point plans to Uber/Lyft to the SD Rowing Club as there is no parking at the venue. The shuttle will also be making a few trips from 10-11pm for transportation to the after party at PB Alehouse. The shuttle will not be making trips back to Paradise Point.

Question

What should I bring to Bay Day?

Answer

For our out of town guests, we will be coordinating delivery of chairs, beach towels and umbrellas. However, we ask that our local friends and family bring their own beach set up and games. Sandwiches, snacks, salads and beverages will be provided.

For all the days along the way
