A beautiful open park alongside the river, next to the baseball stadium. Walk along the Milwaukee Trail to experience this park, pass the skate park, enter some of Missoula's urban forest, and eventually end up at the Kim Williams Trail! Reachable from downtown via the California St, Orange St, and Madison St footbridges, or across the Beartracks Bridge (Higgins Ave).
Starting along campus, a stroll gives you views of the Clark Fork River as well as the forested side of Mt Sentinel
M Trail - hike the trail up the front of Mount Sentinel about .75 mi to reach the M!
