Drew and Cassie met going to the movies with a mutual friend group in October 2015. Because it was around Halloween, the movie was Crimson Peak, which was supposed to be creepy (but was also a little cheesy). Cassie was trying to save money so she didn't buy any snacks. Luckily, when Drew had to go to the bathroom, he asked if someone could hold his popcorn! Cassie was close by so of course she volunteered. And only ate a *little bit* of it as payment. Drew came back from the bathroom to find half his popcorn gone! Later that evening the group continued the party at one of their houses. They had a puzzle going on the dining table, so Cassie got straight to work on it! She didn't know everyone very well so the puzzle was a great activity. Drew noticed Cassie wasn't socializing much so he went over to the table (even though he doesn't really like puzzles) to talk and "help" with the pieces. We talked for a long while and Drew even convinced Cassie to try learning to swing dance in the living room! A few days later Cassie messaged Drew to spend more time together separate from the group. Drew suggested watching Dead Poets Society and Cassie said yes! But, she warned him that now they were friends, she would no longer hold back on the popcorn like at the theater! We officially starting dating in 2016, the next semester.
