Ever since the golden age of their UofSC days, Brock and David have always had a bond with a strength like no other. The father of David’s three nephews, and the husband to one of his oldest friends, Brock Dempsey is a solid 10/10 friend, brother, and Best Man.

Joe Graham hopped in an old Ford pick up and trekked all the way to the Florida swamps to pursue his PhD in school psychology. Little did he know what was to come. David of course! From late nights roaming the streets of Gainesville, playing Halo, hanging out in Disney World, and cooking some of the best steaks you could ever have, the adventures in grad school were endless. Now they're both old and entering big new chapters of their life. It’s like the great stories, Mr. Graham, the ones that really mattered.

No, his name isn’t Chris Roberts. We spelled it right. In 2016 a young lad raised his hand during grad school orientation and asked when he should start writing his dissertation. David, sitting in front of the young man rolled his eyes...what a jerk, David, that guy is gonna be in your wedding! Entering grad school with a bunch of strangers is daunting, but Chris made the journey so much more interesting and enjoyable. Now both doctors, David is forever grateful for the kindred spirit he found in Chris.

A tale as old as time, but not nearly as old as Matt…David and Matt crossed paths in high school marching band, in the little town of Blythewood, where they shared their love of music and video games. Now, these two nerds from South Carolina have grown up to become two old nerds who somehow both ended up in Texas. Strange how life works out like that.

One day, David’s friend Cat said, “Hey, do you want to meet my boyfriend, Kevin?” and ever since, David hasn’t been able to escape this Hawaiian-shirt loving fiend! So thanks, Cat for bringing such an amazing human being into David’s life! Kevin is the sole reason that David has also started investing in island-esque button-downs, and for that, he will be forever grateful.
Alex Rodriguez

When David met Cassie, he didn’t expect that he’d be getting an actual brother. Then along came Alex. If you’re ever in need of information on Star Wars or Pokémon, Alex is your go-to guy. Over the past two years, Alex truly has been a brother. From eating pints of ice cream on the beach at Corpus Christi, to roasting each other while playing Smash Bros., Alex has always made David feel like a kid again and helped him find the funner parts of life.
Austin Savage

COVID impacted everyone in a lot of different ways. But one of the more positive things to have happened, was the friendship that blossomed between David and Austin. Just months before moving to Houston, TX, David stumbled across Austin, who just happened to live in H-Town, while playing Call of Duty. That’s just not a coincidence, that’s fate. To say it’s been an honor watching this guy get married, have a kid of his own and set off to serve our country would be putting it mildly. Now we just anxiously await for this brave, little soldier boy to come marching home.
Brianna Rodriguez

Brianna is Cassie's younger sister and maid of honor. She lives in Belton, TX and is an AP Human Geography teacher. She loves teaching, all things Disney, horror movies, and random pop culture trivia. Bri has been Cassie's biggest cheerleader and supporter her entire life, and is a constant reminder to always find the bright side in any situation. She is a natural supporter and caregiver, and once kept a fish alive for almost 2 whole years (RIP Squishy). She loves helping others and is usually the first to volunteer when someone needs help. Bri is a social butterfly and can become friends with just about anyone within minutes. Just don't ask her for directions or you will get lost.
Alyssa Rodriguez

Alyssa, aka "Wyssa," is Cassie's other younger sister, and is a sophomore at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She is studying to be a teacher and wants to specialize in deaf education one day. Alyssa loves country music, the Houston Astros, baked potatoes, and going to the beach. When she's not studying or working, she loves hanging out with her little brother Alex or watching Euphoria (but never at the same time). She loves going to Disney with her family and stays ready to plan the next trip. She won't text you back but she will always say yes to getting food and spending time with her sibs.
Meleah Riddle

Meleah Riddle ("Leelee, Melelee, or Mele") is David's little sister and will soon be Cassie's as well! She is a middle school band director and music teacher in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She loves watching anime, being involved in her church, spending time with her family, and going on sushi dates with her boyfriend Zach. Meleah also loves going to the gym and is passionate about all things health and nutrition. She is a fur mama to her cat, Bella, and will soon be adopting a second cat named Daphne. Her talents and skills include: storytelling (with all the details), playing clarinet, and keeping track of 30 different animes at the same time. She is a kind soul and is one of the most dependable people you will ever meet.
Kathryn Chavira

Kathryn (or "Kat") is Cassie's closest friend from college. Kat and Cassie met after registering for a scholarship pageant in 2015 that ended up getting canceled. Although times were tough and the circumstance was unfortunate (actually, it really sucked), Kat and Cassie ended up becoming really close and even rushed a sorority together the following year. Over time, it was apparent that they were like long lost twins. Both have three younger siblings (of the same age), spent most of their time in college working, have the same type of humor, and even share the same birthday - Dec. 13th! Cassie had the honor of being part of Kat and Alex's wedding in 2020, and she can't wait for Kat to stand with her this December.
Brittni Rendon

Brittni Rendon is one of the most constant people in Cassie's life. They have been best friends since 6th grade after making the same basketball team together (C team, which was the most fun team to be on!) Knowing each other since age 11, they have gone through some of life's biggest ups and downs side by side. Navigating middle school, high school, college, and adulthood has brought them some of the most meaningful memories in life. Brittni is one of those friends that you can go weeks (even months) without talking to, but when you do get together, it is as if no time has passed at all. Brittni is married to Uziel "Uzi" Rendon, and she rescues people for a living as a firefighter for the city of Houston. Cassie is so proud of her accomplishments and is so thankful to call Brittni her oldest friend.
Amy Rosales

Amy Rosales is Cassie's best friend from childhood. They met on their 6th grade basketball team, along with Brittni, and have been best friends ever since. Amy has been someone that Cassie can always confide in, no matter where they are in life or how long it has been since they last saw each other. Amy has been there for most of Cassie's best moments, worst moments, and most embarrassing moments. Some of Cassie's favorite memories come from Amy's annual New Year's Eve parties that she would throw each year in high school and in college. No matter how messy life gets, Cassie is thankful to have Amy as someone she can go to. Amy is pursuing her master's degree in human resources through Texas A&M. Her and her husband Mathias are a huge Aggie family and live with their two German Shepherds in Bulverde, TX.
