we're getting married

Liz and Justin met when they were 15 years old in their Sophomore years at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. They were placed in the same gym elective (Karate!) and sat next to each other in Spanish class. They were frequently paired with each other for projects in these classes and something just clicked. Finally, in February of 2012, Justin asked Liz out on a date by holding up a sign from his notebook in class. He didn’t have enough money to pay the tip for their first date at Uncle Julio’s Rio Grande, but don’t worry! Liz and Justin continued to go on many more dates and adventures for years to come.

It’s easy to say after 8 1/2 years, Liz and Justin grew in love through their many experiences and adventures together. On a late summer day (in the middle of a pandemic!) Justin’s sister Isabelle invited them both to the Hillwood Estate & Gardens to explore the grounds and scenery. With Liz clueless on what was coming up next, they walked around while Justin sweat a bit from both the nerves and summer heat! Finally, they walked down to the Japanese Garden area where he grabbed Liz’s hand, pulled the ring out of the camera bag, and asked her to be his wife on one knee. She of course said yes, she already loved him forever. Justin and Liz’s families popped out from behind the garden and every loved one joined in on the celebration. We hope you all will continue to celebrate with us on our wedding day!
