Transportation During Your Stay

Transportation in Northern Michigan can be challenging, especially in remote areas where rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are limited. To ensure a smooth and stress-free trip, we highly recommend renting a car at the airport. This will give you the most flexibility to explore the area and attend all the wedding festivities without relying on local services. If renting a car isn’t an option, here are a few transportation services available: 1. Sunset Premier Shuttle (Petoskey, MI) 24-hour shuttle service. Online reservations are available. 2. Charlevoix Taxi & Shuttle (Charlevoix, MI) Taxi and shuttle service. Pre-booking is highly recommended. For the best experience, plan your transportation arrangements in advance!

Outside Visitors for the Inn at Bay Harbor, Autograph Collection

For guests not staying at The Inn at Bay Harbor, you’re welcome to enjoy the amenities with loved ones who are staying at the property. Please note, however, that the Inn does *not* provide day passes for non-guests. While they are typically relaxed about verifying whether you’re staying there, they do reserve the right to check, so we encourage everyone to be mindful of this policy. We hope this allows everyone to make the most of this special weekend together!

Shuttle Services Provided

We’re excited to share that we’ll be providing a shuttle service between The Inn at Bay Harbor and the Holiday Inn to and from our wedding venue. Please note that there will not be transportation provided to the Welcome Party. For those needing additional transportation options, please reference the Transportation During Your Stay FAQ on our website. Here, you’ll find recommendations for car rentals and other services that can be booked. If you’re not staying at The Inn at Bay Harbor or the Holiday Inn, we encourage you to review these recommendations to ensure seamless travel during the celebrations.

A Note on Kids

If your little ones were included on your invitation, they are more than welcome to join in on the fun! We want you to enjoy the weekend and make the most of your time in Northern Michigan. If you want a “grownups night out” please feel free to do so! As a family community there are plenty of babysitters in the area who could be used for the wedding night or more. If you need recommendations, let us know—we’d be happy to check with our planners for local options!
