One of our favorite places to visit. Easy short hikes offering stunning views of mountains and wildlife. Highly recommend.
Alaska Railroad
An excellent journey into interior Alaska. They offer day trips out of Anchorage. Seward to the south and Talketna and Denali to the north. Highly recommend. Can be on pricey side.
Talkeetna Village
A wonderful village north of Anchorage. You can travel by train or car. Day trip.
Whittier
Day trip from Anchorage. The drive alone is stunning. The town of Whittier is remote and unique. Access to the town is thru a one-way tunnel which is shared with the Alaska Railroad. Most all the residence live under one roof! A very picturesque remote town.
Alaska SeaLife Center
Highly recommend a visit to Alaska Sealife Center. Seward is a wonderful walking town. Make this a stop during your visit to Seward.
Kenai Fjords National Park
Boat tours depart out of Seward. We can offer our family and friends 20% discount of boat tours during our wedding weekend in Seward.
Hatcher Pass
A scenic drive and day trip from Anchorage. An old mining town. Plenty of day hiking or just enjoy the views.

Exit Glacier is located only 7 miles from our Seward Cabins. Amazing to experience Global Warming as you walk through the old parts of glacier fields. Just outside of Seward AK
