Timeline of events

6:00 pm

Weather in the Alaska summer changes quickly. Dress attire during our wedding weekend is absolutely relaxed outdoor casual. Dress in layers. Rain jackets and sweaters are recommended. Don't be shy to bring your favorite LL Bean flannel shirts. Comfortable hiking and walking shoes will be fine. Evenings are chilly. Remember, the sun doesn't set during the summer!

Wednesday July 24. Family & friends arrive into Anchorage Airport ( ANC ) Pick up rental cars. Check into local airport hotel for two nights. In 7/24 and out Friday 7/26. Thursday 7/25 - Patrick & Cassidy to meet up with guests. Today is "on own" exploring Anchorage and surrounding areas. This evening at 530pm, we all gather at Morgan & Craig's log cabin home for a delicious Alaskan welcome BBQ & drinks. ( see "schedule tab" for more details. ) Friday 7/26 - 930am Checkout out of Anchorage hotel & travel to Seward Alaska. About 2.5 hours. 3pm Checkin at Alaska Creekside Cabins in Seward. At 630pm we gather for Family and Friends dinner located at the Resurrection Roadhouse. Saturday 7/27 - Wedding day! - Morning activities can be planned. Wedding Ceremony located on Cabin Grounds starting at 530pm with reception to follow. Sunday 7/28 - checkout of cabins. Guests can travel back to Anchorage or be on own to explore Alaska as long as you want!

During our wedding weekend all attire is casual outdoor wear. Evenings can be chilly. Dressing in layers is recommended. Comfortable walking or hiking shoes are fine.

Craig and Morgan Zematis, Cassidy's sister and brother-in-law, have graciously opened their beautiful Log Cabin Home for all us to gather and relax. A BBQ dinner with drinks will be served in a relaxed wilderness setting. This is a perfect time for all of us to gather and talk story about our travels to Alaska and what to expect this weekend. Please RSVP by May 1, 2019. We sure hope everyone can attend.

Travel to Seward AK

9:30 am

*Note: weather in Seward can be cooler than Anchorage *

Plan to depart Anchorage area around 930am and travel to Seward. I suggest we all follow each other. We can also make a couple scenic stops along the way. Our destination is the Alaska Creekside Cabins. We have rented out the entire compound. Space is limited. ( Local B&B's and other cabins for rent located nearby ) This is a very rustic cabin stay. There is a common bath house. Most cabins have one queen bed, mini fridge, cable TV, coffee maker and bottled water. We will assign cabins based on RSVP sleeping arrangements. Please touch base with Patrick regarding your cabin details and nightly rate. When we arrive, we can settle into our private cabins and get a lay of the land. Downtown Seward is about 4 miles away. Guests can be on-own to enjoy the cabin grounds or Seward town. We all gather at 630pm for dinner located at Resurrection Roadhouse restaurant. Everyone is invited.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

5:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Casual outdoor attire. Dress in layers.

Cassidy and I fell in love with this rustic location during our stay a few years back. It holds a special place in our hearts and we can't wait to share it with you on our special day. Ceremony and reception will be outdoors so please dress comfortably. Our dinner reception will be a family style BBQ with all the fixin's and drinks. We are now flexible with our RSVP. Please respond by April 1. Lol.

Depart Cabins

11:00 am

Today we check out of Alaska Creekside Cabins. Travel back to Anchorage or exploring on your own. We have added more information about activities during our stay located on the Sightseeing Tab.
