We would love it if everyone stayed on site at the Trailside Inn. Our vision for our wedding was a weekend where we would get to spend time with everyone all together. Per the hotel policy, non hotel guests are required to leave the property each evening at 10pm.
Please see the wedding weekend schedule. We are planning on a Friday night welcome gathering in lieu of a rehearsal dinner. In addition, there will be coffee & tea Sunday morning
Your RSVP will indicate all invited guests, including children! We understand the difficulties of finding child care, however we are limiting children to close family members.
We are accounting for our gluten free and vegan/vegetarian family and friends in our planning. Friday night welcome party will have gluten free corn tacos with two vegan/vegetarian options and two meat options. The reception dinner will include vegan and vegetarian cuisine only with some gluten free options. If you have any additional dietary restrictions, please let us know.
No! We will be having buffet style salad and vegan/gf and vegetarian pizza options for you to choose from. You will not need to decide anything in advance!
Because this is the Green Mountain state, the Trailside Inn strives to be very eco-friendly. As such, they discourage the use of single use plastic water bottles. We encourage our guests to bring their own water bottles for use during the weekend. The hotel provides ample filtered water for your enjoyment.
All rooms are assigned to each guest in order to accommodate everyone. Please fill out the Google Form linked on the RSVP tab. Once we receive a completed Google Form, RSVP, and you will be booking through Trailside we will then email you a room type and promo code to use for booking your room. The hotel is closed for all reservations during our wedding weekend, except for our guests. Please note, the hotel has a 2 day minimum for their reservations.
Vermont has so much to offer and we hope that our guests will enjoy some of the wonderful things that we love about this state. Please check out the things to do tab for some great suggestions of things to do in the area. Whether you're interested in checking out the beautiful scenery, enjoying some craft beer, getting in a few rounds of golf, or taking advantage of the local stores and markets, you won't be disappointed!
Most of the events will be on grass, so feel free to dress in comfortable, grass-friendly shoes (flats, block heels or wedges). Please note temperatures tend to dip at night, and since the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside you might want to bring a jacket or wrap. However, there will also be patio heaters to help keep you warm.
You are welcome to bring your favorite drink for the welcome party only. Due to Vermont Liquor laws, all alcohol drinks during cocktail hour and the reception must be served by our caterer. After 10:00pm, all guests who are staying at the Trailside Inn may continue to drink their BYOB beverages inside.
