Question

Since the bride is wearing a black dress, can we still wear black attire?

Answer

Absolutely! This is a very easy dress code. Black is perfectly fine along with other darker colors! The bridesmaids and groomsmen are wearing Burgundy.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We are having an open bar of soda, juice, beer, and wine until around 7pm (exact time to come once I finalize this). After that, you can still get these items you would just have to pay for them. You can also get other liquor from the bar if you so choose. We just ask that everyone stays responsible since we would have to pay for any damages caused by drunken mistakes.

What will be the order of events?

Answer

Tentatively we have the ceremony starting at 4:30 (This is the only thing that we for sure have a time for), then cocktail hour from 5pm-6pm. Then dinner will be ready buffet style at 6:30pm. Toasts and eating will be followed by dancing around 8:00pm. The event space closes at midnight, but they also own the bar next door where we can continue celebrating. Also, around 10pm we will be having pizzas brought to the event space for all hungry guests!

Shorewood Public Library has free parking. After 4, you can park at Atwater Elementary, across from The Atrium, as well.
