It all started with a facebook friend request from Ryan. For 2 weeks after that, They both talked nonstop getting to know each other. Although neither of them were looking for anything serious, They both felt a connection. During this time, They had a conversation about what they looked for in a partner. to which Cassidy said she didn't need someone with money to make her happy, and when the right person came along; They could propose with a ring pop and she would be happy. On April 22nd, Cassidy agreed to go on a date with Ryan to The Houston Zoo. And even though neither of them wanted to admit it, It really was love at first sight. They went on a total of two dates before Ryan made it official. On May 6th, 2018, He showed up to her house with flowers and asked her to be his girlfriend with a strawberry ring pop. And of course she said yes! From that moment on, She knew she would marry him someday.

After 3 amazing years together, Ryan knew it was finally time to propose. With the help of Cassidy's Younger sister Carissa, He came up with the perfect plan. One week before Christmas, He had one of her best friends Savanna take her to make sure her nails were done. While Cassidy was at the nail shop, Ryan went over to her parent's house and asked her father's permission to propose. With his blessing, Ryan picked out the most beautiful engagement ring and hid it in a kitchen cabinet he knew Cassidy couldn't reach in the apartment they shared. Fast forward to Christmas day, they had plans to go over to her parent's house for breakfast. Funny enough, it was pajama themed. He had hidden the ring behind a curtain next to the Christmas tree, and the whole morning Ryan was so nervous that he could barely eat. A few hours later after Christmas gifts were exchanged, everyone got together to take a family photo in front of the tree. In reality the camera was on record, and it was finally time. Ryan pulled the ring box from behind the curtain, got down on one knee, and asked Cassidy to marry him. This time instead of a ring pop, it was the real deal and she said YES! And now they get to spend the rest of their lives together with their 3 precious fur babies Teddy, Jim, and Prada!
