Things To Do

Ava Roasteria

4655 Southwest Hall Boulevard, Beaverton, OR 97005

We went here for our first date. Needless to say, this is a favorite spot of ours.

The Melting Pot

1050 Southwest 6th Avenue, Portland, OR 97204

The food here is amazing. We recommend the complete experience for two.

Oaks Amusement Park

7805 Southeast Oaks Park Way, Portland, OR 97202

A fun little amusement park in SE Portland, there's also a skating rink that's a lot of fun.

Powell's City of Books

1005 West Burnside Street, Portland, OR 97209

Powell's city of books is certainly not an understatement. This book store takes up and entire block in Portland, and with it's café you can spend hours in here and find nearly anything that fits your fancy.

OMSI

1945 Southeast Water Avenue, Portland, OR 97214

A fun interactive science museum with rotating exhibits. Check the website for any upcoming events and movies.

ClockWork Rose Tea Emporium

12412 Southwest Broadway Street, Beaverton, OR 97005

Absolutely wonderful, tea time is amazing, however we recommend reserving your table ASAP as they tend to book out far in advance.

Pittock Mansion

3229 Northwest Pittock Drive, Portland, OR 97210

This is a favorite spot for us. Go early in the day, the house closes at 4pm every day. Several hiking trails around this area too.

Multnomah Falls

OR 97014

Several hiking trails and waterfalls to explore. Lots of new growth after several wildfires in the recent years. Please be aware of current warnings and fire restrictions this summer! Please keep our forests healthy, if you pack it in, please pack it out, and leave nothing but footprints and take nothing but pictures.

Gabriel Park

Portland, OR 97219

This is a fun park for all. If you have kids, there's an amazing playground, if you have pets, there are seasonal off leash areas, and if you just want a nice place to walk around there are several trails, and several areas where you can put down a blanket for a relaxing picnic.

International Rose Test Garden

400 Southwest Kingston Avenue, Portland, OR 97205

Portland Japanese Garden

611 Southwest Kingston Avenue, Portland, OR 97205
