No, you won’t need to bring your passport. However, please keep in mind that REAL IDs are required for traveling within the U.S. Driver's licenses are un-acceptable forms of identification for TSA. However, you can also use your passport, which is what we're using!
The main airport on Maui is Kahului Airport (OGG). There are smaller commuter airports in Kapalua (West Maui) and Hāna (East Maui). It’s about a 45-minute drive from Kahului Airport to Lāhainā. Both Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi are served by their own airports.

Most Maui resorts and hotels can be found in West Maui (Kāʻanapali and Lāhainā) and South Maui (Kapalua and Wailea). The wedding will be held in West Maui, so please plan accordingly! Some family will be staying at the Outrigger Kāʻanapali Beach Resort and will be booking through Costco :)
Hawaiʻi follows Hawaiʻi Standard Time (GMT-10 hours), which is two (2) hours behind Pacific Standard Time (PST). Hawaiʻi does not observe Daylight Saving Time, so add one extra hour to the time difference during this period (March through November).
Although any time of year is delightful to visit Maui, the average temperature is between 75˚–85˚F and humid. April is the very beginning from transitioning to the Summer months, but can be cooler with some light showers. Trade winds keep things comfortable year-round. It is generally drier on the western side and wetter on the eastern side of the island.
Ironwoods Beach has a small, public beach parking lot, which is a convenient and free parking option located along Lower Honoapiilani Road. While the lot may be small, it offers a valuable alternative for visitors looking to access nearby beaches without the hassle of finding parking at popular paid spots like Kapalua Bay Beach or Sea House.

Whale-watching season begins in December and ends in May. Peak whale-watching months are between January and early April so you may be able to see some! Please note that tours book up well in advance so plan accordingly!
