His brother even knew the plan and was ready to help capture the moment. But when the day arrived, Brian realized he didn’t want to wait for the perfect place — he just wanted the perfect moment. So on their anniversary, cozy at home, with their dog Captain nearby, Brian asked Cassandra to marry him. For a moment Cassandra was completely surprised, responding with an excited and repeated, “Really?! Really?!” Of course, the answer was yes. Soon after, they celebrated the news surrounded by both of their families — the first of many joyful moments leading up to the day they begin their next chapter together.
