Wedding Party

These people hold such a special place in our hearts, so we have asked them to stand by us on our wedding day. Meet the wedding crew!

Raelynn Moskal

Maid of Honor

How they met: Well...that's kind of a funny story. Raelynn has been there for all of the highs and the lows, and is Kayla's best friend. She's loyal, dependable, and equal parts sweet and sassy. Their time together includes playing The Sims, going on photoshoots, and cozying up on the couch to watch tv...oh, and always Starbucks. Raelynn worked with Andrew to carry out his engagement plan and was there to be their personal photographer; it was so special to have Rae there! She enjoys Crumbl Cookies, having the coolest nail art in the room, and long cuddles with kittens.

Jared Raphael

Best Man

How they met: The Jack Dudley Tennis Program in middle school? It's been so long that we truly aren't even sure! Andrew has known for a decade that Jared would be his best man, (Jared may be the only person in this world he loves as much as Kayla). We all know you can't find a more loyal and supportive friend than Jared Raphael. He enjoys watching his Yankees & Sabres, working out, and dominating every yard game known to man.

Alexandria Ernst

Matron of Honor

How they met: Working at the Batavia Muckdogs Stadium. Allie is Andrew's cousin and Kayla's best friend; she's the first person that Kayla told that she liked Andrew! Wondering how close they are? Kayla watched a baby come out of Allie...that close. Kayla also has the honor of being Allie's Maid of Honor! She enjoys Adobo Seasoning and Cafe Bustelo (can you tell that her fiancé is Latino?), reading books, and spending too much money at Target.

Mathew Clor

Groomsman

How they met: Pickup sports in middle school. Mat and Andrew have been friends for nearly 20 years! They quite literally "grew up" together and truly would not be where they are without each others constant support and friendship. Mat enjoys sports: Duke / Yankees / Steelers / Sabres / Lakers / (insert another basic team), enforcing the law, and THAT burger with…onion straws?!

Cheyenne Ernst

Bridesmaid

How they met: "Shiny" is Andrew's sister and Kayla is so excited to now be able to officially call Shiny her sister as well! Kayla and Shiny appreciate the ability to share geeky information, big science words (say "atherosclerosis"), and anatomy pictures with each other. Don't look at their Instagram messages...you'll see pictures of organs. They bond over a mutual love for Airheads Xtremes, caramel macchiatos, and painting. She enjoys avocados, always having her name spelled wrong at Starbucks, and being "the smart one".

Garrett Lee

Groomsman

How they met: 108 Hart Street. Garret and Andrew have also been friends since middle/high school. They have done so much together; such as coach baseball, freestyle to "lifestyle" daily in college, and they even met the Based God! Garrett is a local celebrity in the Buffalo Area (anyone recall a certain sweet potato at Bills games). He's a true table smashing Buffalonian who will never steer you wrong when it comes to good food and music.

Jenna Wozniak

Bridesmaid

How they met: Batavia Muckdogs Stadium - Jenna is about to be Kayla’s sister-in-law! Interestingly enough, Kayla met Jenna before Philip did, and Philip met Andrew before Kayla did...both came home and said that they met awesome people at work. I guess that all worked out! Favorite memories include ice skating, hiking in Allegheny state park, and times when they chitchat for a few hours straight! Jenna enjoys hiking, peanut butter, and her old truck named Rick.

Shawn Alexander

Groomsman

How they met: Class at Genesee Community College. Even though Andrew moved south and “Big Shawn” is constantly on the move for work, they keep in contact nearly every day sharing music, baseball highlights, or messing with each other. Some quick facts about Shawn: He can speak (and rap) in four languages, he grew up playing baseball with multiple current MLB players (and could have made it himself), and he still thinks he can beat Andrew in FIFA and MLB the Show.

Amanda Mullen

Bridesmaid

How they met: Officemates while working for the SC Department of Mental Health; started the same day and put in their resignation letters within 2 weeks of each other! Fun memories include brunch, beach fishing, playing Mario Kart with Chinese takeout after failing at going to a martini lounge, and getting in a car accident on Labor Day weekend. They've had a lot of bonding moments in the past year! Amanda enjoys kayaking, fishing, and getting all dressed up for fancy dinners.

Trevor Powers

Groomsman

How they met: Batavia Ramparts Youth Hockey. “Bosco” and Andrew share a love of sports and the outdoors which lead to many hiking trips and playing on sports teams together. One thing you may not understand is their competitiveness, as they are in a never ending "points" battle. He is a true friend who is always pushing Andrew to be his best (and never give up when he wants to quit on a hike). Trevor is a man of many talents who enjoys coaching sports, hosting bonfires, and a good round of golf!

Cassandra Ernst

Jr. Bridesmaid

How they met: Cassie is Andrew's youngest sister. The first day they ever met, Cassie had no shirt on and was hiding under the table while hissing at Kayla...then made her mud pies after warming up a bit. Cassie has felt like Kayla's sister since the mudpie days and they have so many wonderful memories together; from 7-11 Slurpees to sleepovers. One of Kayla's favorites - when they were driving out to Newark to visit Andrew and accidentally took the exit to Buffalo because they were talking too much...40-minute detour! Cassie enjoys artsy things, cooking, and being "the rebellious one".

Amanda Moore

“Go-To” Person

How they met: Swimming in the pool at a resort in Orlando about 15 years ago! Amanda is Kayla’s Southern Sister and they consider each other family. Turning into teenagers, sweet sixteens, weddings, and babies; it has been such a blessing to grow up together! Some of Kayla’s favorite memories with Amanda include smashing peanuts and butter together to try to make peanut butter, making up dances on her trampoline, and laying in bed giggling all night anytime they would visit each other! Amanda is one of our “Go-To’s” for our wedding. Need to know where dinner is taking place? Go to Amanda. Vendor not on time? Go to Amanda….you get the point!

Karen Sammons

“Go-To” Person

How they met: Two crazy kids in the pool at a resort in Orlando! Aunt Karen is part of our Southern Family as well; momma to Amanda Moore. Kayla is so thankful that her mom and Aunt Karen were intentional about regular visits with each other over the past 15 years, traveling between NY and GA so we could all spend time together! Aunt Karen will be our other “Go-To” for our wedding. If anyone is going to be able to keep the day running smoothly, it’s Aunt Karen!
