FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Men can wear the following: linen shirts, short-sleeve button-downs, or polos paired with dress shorts or lightweight pants. Sandals or loafers are perfect. Women can wear the following: flowing sundresses, or skirts and blouses in light, airy fabrics. Think beach shoes, wedges, sandals, or flats.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Saturday April 12th, 2025. We ask that you RSVP by this date to ensure that you have ample time to make travel plans. Also, so we have ample time to notify our team of final head count. Thanks in advance!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the Bilmar by 3:30 PM to catch the trolley to the ceremony. The trolley will depart promptly from the hotel at 3:45 PM to transport everyone to Fort De Soto Park for the ceremony, which begins at 4:30 PM. We’ve hired a trolley service to transport all guests. There will be two trolleys. One for the wedding party and one for all other guests. The trolley will be located outside the hotel lobby at the valet carport. The trolley will take you directly to the ceremony location, so no need to worry about parking or navigating. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride! If you arrive after 3:45 PM, you may need to find alternate transportation to the ceremony. Looking forward to celebrating with you all! See you there!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes, you’re welcome to bring a date! However, we kindly ask that you discuss it with the bride and groom before RSVPing to ensure we have enough space and accommodations for everyone.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, you’re welcome to bring kids! However, we kindly ask that you discuss it with the bride and groom before RSVPing to ensure we have enough space and accommodations for everyone.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We highly recommend staying at The Bilmar Beach Resort, as we’ve arranged a wedding block there. While we have looked into alternative hotels and Airbnb options, we found that the Bilmar Beach Resort offers the best combination of affordability, comfort, and convenience for all guests. The resort is the reception location and trolley services. The bride and groom kindly request that, if financially possible, guests stay at The Bilmar Beach Resort. They would love to have everyone close by to maximize time together and create the ultimate beach wedding vacation experience.
