Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

The reception is in the same building as the hotel. The cathedral is walking distance from the hotel, just a few blocks!

Are children allowed at the wedding and reception?

Answer

While we do love children, this is an adults only celebration!

How long will the wedding be?

Answer

It’s a full catholic wedding, so plan on an hour!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. At the cocktail hour after the wedding and at the reception!

Is there a block of rooms at the hotel?

Answer

Yes! Check the travel section of our website, there’s a link listed there. Or you can call the Pere Marquette Hotel in Peoria and tell them you want to book a room under the Pschirrer/Cashen wedding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Well. Not really. But we are calling this a black tie optional event. We definitely want you to be comfortable!

Will anyone be doing anything after?

Answer

We hope so! There’s a bar in the hotel right outside the reception hall that we hope people will mingle at after the reception and before heading to bed. There are also several great bars in the area that are a short Uber or even walking distance. Some are listed on our “to do” page.

Is there parking available at the wedding and hotel?

Answer

At the cathedral there is ample parking and for the hotel there’s a garage located directly behind it.
