We met at Aurora University where we both played soccer so we knew a lot of the same people, but didn't talk to each other much at all. When Haley moved to Chicago, we were re-acquainted through Instagram and the rest is history!

Ethan told Haley that he would like to have a "weekend together." On this day, Ethan made the executive decision to go to Lincoln Park (our favorite neighborhood in Chicago) to hit some of our most favorite spots. Our first spot was on the skyline of Chicago right outside of a restaurant called the North Pond. As we were walking around outside on this beautiful day, Ethan asked Haley to marry him. There was also a photographer taking pictures, Haley was surprised. Afterwards, the two enjoyed sometime together and later Ethan surprised Haley with friends and family at Homeslice where they celebrated their engagement.
