FAQs

If you have any additional questions that aren't answered here please feel free to reach out to the Bride or Groom!
Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so that we can plan accordingly. Please RSVP within the tab above by January 19th.

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

Our venue does not have designated parking. The venue recommends parking in the ramp across the street (201 2nd st SE Garage) and taking the underground indoor tunnel to the venue entrance. Overnight parking is available. There is also free street parking in front of the venue. The Minneapolis Event Center has three venues within the building, please follow signs to "The View" room located on the lower level.

Question

Can I bring guests/+1's not noted on my invitation?

Answer

We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVP'ing for you and your guest. We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on the wedding invitation.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. We respectfully request no jeans.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love all your little ones! However, due to many factors, we respectfully request that you leave your children at home unless they are noted on the invite.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at The View at Minneapolis Event Center. There will be no need to drive, or go outside, once you arrive.

Question

Is there a hotel block nearby?

Answer

Yes! We have negotiated hotel blocks at the Moxy and the Canopy. Both hotels are located directly across the river near North Loop. See our travel tab for the direct link, or you may call the hotels and ask for the Jeffers Casey block. There will be shuttles back to both hotels after the wedding at 12:15am.

Question

Are there any COVID precautions in place?

Answer

We strongly encourage everyone to be vaccinated and take tests regularly. As of now, the current mandates in place for Minneapolis/St. Paul do not apply to private events so a mask and vaccination card will not be needed. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to the Bride or Groom.
