Taylor, who has been the dad of our friend group, has been a role model and best friend to me for the 11+ years I’ve known him. He is humble, kind, and encouraging, and has always sought the best in me. We share a similar love for sports, computers, and the outdoors which made us instant friends. Taylor continues to push me to be a better man and I am very excited that he gets to stand up there next to me on this special day.

As my best friend for well over 7+ years, Sanya never fails to make me laugh or feel extremely cared for. She is by far one of my favorite people to laugh with, and we have shared the stage with each other multiple times. Being able to perform with my best friend has been one of the highlights of my life each time it happened. She is an extremely talented girl, fiercely loving, and all around beautiful. I’m beyond thankful to have such a faithful friend in her.

Kyle and I first met each other when I shoved him to the ground during a “friendly” game of three flags up in elementary school. When I transitioned to high school, I found myself in need of a loyal friend, so I started hanging out with Kyle. He is incredibly faithful, thoughtful, and not afraid to speak the truth. Kyle seeks the best and is not afraid to ask hard questions and I would not be the man I am today without his influence.

Kennedy is my kindred spirit, and is the most understanding, compassionate, and protective sister to me. As someone who immediately makes you feel welcome and seen, she’s one of the dearest friends I’ve ever had. We share a mutual love of performing, theatre, and all dogs — and you should definitely ask her which Wes Anderson film she loves the most.

Jamison and I met during my freshman year of college. I had never met someone before who rivaled my voice for the loudest in a room. As a teammate and as a friend, Jamison has always called me to a high level of integrity, honesty, and love for those around me. He has lead by example and helped me grow during some of my darkest times. I am so thankful for his friendship and leadership through the last 5+ years, but even more thankful that he will be there to guide me in the future.

Sweet Mabel + I met while sitting on the curb of a sidewalk in midtown NYC when she was nine-years-old, and we have been dear friends and special sisters ever since. Through nothing but the Lord’s sovereignty, we (quite randomly) met at a time where we needed each other most. Even though she is from Georgia, we became special pen pals and eventually spent some incredible time together while she lived with my family in CA during her time with the US touring company of Matilda the musical. While there is a slight age gap between us, she is family to me and we just can’t get enough of each other. She is all-around joyful and kind, and she has the most loving soul. She’s lived such a life already at the age of 13!

Travis and I first met when I started training him during my junior year of college. While I didn’t expect to be dating his sister over a year later, I was drawn to his hard work and drive to be at his best. It didn’t stop with soccer either. He excels at everything he puts his mind to, and I’m very excited that he will be my brother-in-law and it won’t be as weird to ask him to come over to my house and cook meals for me. I am glad he will be there by my side to support me on this special day for his sister and me.

My soon-to-be sister, I couldn’t be more thankful for the bond Jen and and I already share. I value each moment I have with her, and I am so grateful that the Lord put her in my life when He did. We are alike in so many ways, and I can’t wait to join her family and spend as much time with her as possible! ❤️ She is a dog, coffee, and photography enthusiast, and has the best laugh ever.

There is so much I could say about Mike! He and I have seen a lot of change in each other, and all of it for the better. I’ve watched Mike grow in such incredible ways through the love and grace he has received through Jesus Christ. He is a beacon of love and hope to all those he meets. He’s taught me how to be thoughtful and considerate, to think through decisions, and how to humble oneself and ask for help. He may be younger than me, but he is one of the wisest people I know. I am so thankful that Mike will be there by side throughout my marriage to Tyler.

She has a gift of connecting with people, and I value her warm presence every time she comes into town. My brother Cody and I never got along as kids. Sometimes I thought we did, and then I would realize Cody had a strategic goal in mind and I was gullible enough to fall for it, haha. Yet, one day during my freshman year of high school and his senior year, something changed. Cody and I started getting along and it was wonderful. Since then, Cody has been one of the best allies and biggest cheerleaders in life. From my college soccer days to dating, to life challenges, Cody was always there to offer advice, comfort, and the cold hard truth when I needed it. I cherish my relationship with him even though he lives hundreds of miles away, and I am ecstatic that he gets to stand by me. Love you, Code.
Saige + Avrie Miller

Saige + Avrie may have only come into our lives under a year ago, but they’ve left a huge mark on both my heart and Casey’s. They have the most calming and joyful spirits, and they quickly took up residence in my heart as loving sisters + adventure partners. We spent many days with each other, and their move to Hawaii left me missing my neighbors + dear friends so much. While we continue to write to each other, I can’t wait to hug them and have the best time with them very soon!

Nick and I have known each other since our middle school soccer days. Thank you, Nick, for not abandoning me then when it was easy to write off the loud white kid who hadn’t hit puberty yet. Gratefully, our bond goes much farther than soccer now and I have grown to trust Nick with anything that life throws at me. He has always pursued his passion with everything he has, even when the odds are against him. He continues to enjoy success and I can’t wait to watch him be a successful coach! I am excited to do life together with Nick and to have him by my side on my wedding day. Can’t wait to return the favor in September, Nick!

The most handsome Phillips to date was born on March 29th, 2019 and is about to outshine everyone at the wedding in his dapper little outfit. This giggly, little bundle of Joy, also known as my nephew, has been captivating hearts for over a year now and will walk down the aisle next to my brother. He may cry a little, but we’ve had a talk, and he said he might not be able to contain all his emotions. Me neither little guy, me neither!
