Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

For guests not staying overnight at one of the hotel blocks, both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue, which offers free parking during our wedding. The entrance to this parking lot is on Asylum Street, off of Main Street. Parking will NOT be allowed overnight in this lot. Please note: both your entry ticket and the validation ticket you will receive from the venue upon arrival will be required for free parking.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:30pm. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check your coat and find a seat before we begin.

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Dress to impress! The dress code is formal, but you can never be too overdressed. For women, this may include a (long or short) dress, a tasteful jumpsuit, or a pantsuit in any color palette. For men, this may include a dress shirt or button-down, tailored dress pants or khakis, dress shoes, and an optional suit jacket. Please refrain from wearing jeans or fully white dresses/outfits (for patterned dresses with white backgrounds - use your best judgement!).

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. The Society Room is located on a pedestrian road, lined with bricks so be careful when walking into the venue!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we love your children, please note that we are unable to accommodate them at our wedding. We hope this doesn’t cause too much inconvenience and that you’ll still be able to join us on our special day.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

Unfortunately, our venue is limited, and we are only able to accommodate the number of guests indicated on your RSVP. Please refer to your addressed invitation for the number of guests we expect to attend in your party.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Please note on your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions or severe allergies, so we may notify our venue.
