When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

4:45PM at the latest! Welcome beverages will be available starting at 4:15PM, and the ceremony will start promptly at 5PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a full, midi, or cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men. Please no jeans or sneakers. Also note for shoe selection, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, on grass.

Can I bring a date?

We respectfully request you do not bring a plus one unless specifically indicated on your envelope. If unsure, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one! We thank you for your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones; however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking onsite, or you can park at the hotel and utilize the provided transportation. Information about hotel and provided transportation is under the "Travel" tab. If you will be drinking, please consider using the provided transportation, as cars cannot be left overnight at the venue.

What is the John James Audubon Center?

Answer

The John James Audubon Center is a nonprofit nature center and bird and wildlife sanctuary with over 175 acres and a number of historic buildings, including the first home in America of John James Audubon. John James Audubon was an ornithologist, naturalist, conservationist, and bird portrait painter. The John James Audubon Center's programming reflects that of the National Audubon Society, focusing on conserving ecosystems and biodiversity. There are exhibits about birds and wildlife as well as displays regarding Audubon's life, artwork, writing, and scientific and historic legacy.
