Yes. The dress code for our wedding is Summer Formal. This means light and bright summery colors, patterns, and fabrics! Suits, blazers, midi or maxi dresses, and jumpsuits are all appropriate. The celebration will take place both indoors and outdoors, and since it’s early June in Illinois, the weather could be a touch on the warm side. We encourage you to dress in a way that feels comfortable (lightweight, breathable fabrics like linen or cotton blends are great options) while still keeping within the described dress code. Think polished but seasonally appropriate! Various areas throughout the venue contain grass and gravel, so please keep this in mind when choosing footwear.
Yes. We are providing transportation to shuttle guests to and from the venue for the wedding. The shuttle will pick guests up at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Rockford on Saturday, June 6. Please note that you do not have to be staying at the Fairfield to use the shuttle service. In particular, those that stay at the Hilton Garden Inn will be right next door. Please review the Travel section for more hotel options within walking distance of the shuttle service. If you are not planning to use the shuttle service, we recommend driving or using Uber or Lyft. Parking is available at the venue if you choose to drive, but please do so safely and responsibly. If you opt for rideshare, please plan ahead as services can be difficult to come by in this area.
We will share more details on timing as the schedule is finalized, but expect an afternoon start.
