Yes. The dress code for our wedding is Formal, so suits, blazers, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, and floor-length dresses are all appropriate. The celebration will take place both indoors and outdoors, and since it’s early June in Illinois, the weather could be a touch on the warmer side. We encourage you to dress in a way that feels comfortable (lightweight, breathable fabrics like linen or cotton blends are great options) while still keeping within a formal style. Think polished but seasonally appropriate! Keep in mind that some areas will be on grass, so grass-friendly footwear is recommended.
Yes. We are providing transportation to shuttle guests to and from the venue for the wedding. The shuttle will pick guests up at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Rockford on Saturday, June 6. Please note that you do not have to be staying at the Fairfield to leverage the shuttle service. Please review the Travel section for more hotel options. If you are not planning to use the shuttle service, we recommend driving or using Uber or Lyft. Parking is available at the venue if you choose to drive, but please do so safely and responsibly. If you opt for rideshare, please plan ahead as services can be difficult to come by in this area.
We will share more details on timing as the schedule is finalized, but expect an afternoon start.
