Your presence on our big day is the greatest gift of all. We will kindly and whole heartedly accept a cash gift, as we do not have an active registry. There will be an envelope box at the reception venue.
Please inform the bride or groom of any dietary restrictions or allergies you have before the rsvp date so that they can let the caterers know.
As we are trying to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we are only able to accommodate the guests who are formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one, then they will be formally addressed by name on your invite. If not, then we kindly ask that you only bring yourself. We have made the decision to keep our wedding intimate, and for this reason, are not able to accommodate for individuals we have never met or do not hold a close relationship with. We hope you understand.
The ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m, and we ask that you arrive with enough time beforehand to mingle and find seating.
We are having an un-plugged ceremony. Please leave the phones turned off and away. We know how exciting it is, and how tempting it can be to snap some photos of the bride down the isle, but we are paying lots of money for professional photographers, please let them do their jobs and avoid popping arms or phones out and photobombing the bride walking down the isle.
The ceremony location is about 30 minutes from Elora Mill. We kindly ask that you plan accordingly. We recommend going straight from the ceremony to Elora Mill for the cocktail hour, which begins at 4:30. Therefore, we recommend you don't check into your accommodations until after the reception, or handle the check ins before the ceremony, so that we don't have to miss a minute of your presence!
The dress code is formal. We encourage long dresses and suits. We do, however, kindly ask that no guest wear the colour light blue, as this colour will be worn by Casey's closest friends.
Absoloutley! Our wedding is on a Monday, and we fully recommend making a mini getaway of it! Either staying the night before, night of, or both! Elora is a beautiful hidden gem in Ontario and perfect for a Mid Summer getaway!
While we absolutely love your little ones, we only have capacity for the children of our closest family members. We hope you understand, and that you enjoy our wedding and use it at a special date night away from the children for a night!
