We kindly ask all guests to dress modestly and respectfully for the Sikh wedding ceremony, which will take place in a gurdwara. Soft, joyful spring pastels are encouraged!
For Women: Traditional Indian attire such as a salwar kameez or lehenga is encouraged. If you prefer not to wear traditional clothing, modest formalwear like a dress or blouse with pants is also appropriate. Outfits should have sleeves, and skirts or dresses should cover the knees. Please avoid wearing red, as it is traditionally reserved for the bride. A head covering (scarf or dupatta) is required while inside the gurdwara. For Men: Formal or semi-formal attire such as trousers with a button-down shirt or polo is appropriate. A head covering (scarf, handkerchief, or bandana) is required while inside the gurdwara—these will also be available on-site if needed. Note: Shoes must be removed before entering the gurdwara
