Farm by Beer Tree Brew
This place is one of the biggest reasons we love floating down the Chenango River! Sit inside or out, this place has plenty of room to try their beer, a great food truck, and space for the kids to go run around while staying in your sight. Animal Style, Welcome to Jamrock, and Craft All Day are some staples we really enjoy!
Factory by Beer Tree Brew
I know, we already told you we love Beer Tree. But then they opened a second location (a mile down the hill from Josh) and we love it just the same. This location has a more contemporary vibe, TONS of their beers, and some excellent pizza's.
Irish Kevins
Site of our contested first date, and home to a great Reuben sandwich.
Apple Hills
A great spot to grab a hearty breakfast. Sit inside or out on the porch.
Owego
A favorite for out-of-town visitors for it's antique shops, gift stores, coffee joints, and restaurants, all running along the Susquehanna river.
The Colonial
If you're staying downtown and looking for a cool spot to try out, look no further. It has indoor and outdoor seating, a good vibe, and GREAT bar food. We would find it hard to believe that if you go here, you won't find at least something you like. By the way, get the "house" fries. You won't regret it.
Craft Bar + Kitchen
Another convenient place if you're staying downtown, this place is a nice stop for craft beers, sliders, and crazy milkshakes.
Chenango Valley State Park
There are a ton of parks within a reasonable drive from Binghamton. This park is by far the largest. There are numerous hiking trails (including one along the river that you can see the island we got engaged on), a lake for fishing, boating, and swimming, and a golf course.
Animal Adventure Park
A short drive north of Binghamton, Animal Adventure Park is home to the famous April the giraffe. This park has over 100 different species of animals and allows for an up close and personal experience with many of them.
Binghamton Rumble Ponies Baseball
Coming to town early and looking for something to do? The local AA-affiliate of the NY Mets are home and playing the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 7:05 on Friday night.
