When do we need to RSVP by?

Question

Do I have to book lodging through the room block at Wintergreen Resort?

Answer

We recommend booking through our room block phone number, but feel free to stay wherever works for you! There are a multitude of Airbnbs on the mountain as well as options at the bottom of the mountain. If you stay on the mountain, you will be able to use the shuttle after the reception to get back to your lodgings. If you stay at a Wintergreen location on the mountain, you will also have access to the on demand shuttle on Sunday to get back to your car.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love all the little ones, we ask that this event be adults only. We appreciate your understanding.

How will guests get to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle that brings guests from the Mountain Inn to the Blue Ridge Overlook for the ceremony. It will return guests afterward to the Mountain Inn for cocktail hour and dinner.

How will guests get home at the end of the night?

Answer

There will be a shuttle that can bring guests to any accommodations on the mountain after the reception. Cars can be left overnight in the Mountain Inn parking lot.

How do we get back to our cars on Sunday morning?

Answer

If you are staying at a Wintergreen accommodation, you can call to utilize their on-demand shuttle to get driven back to your car.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, while the cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
