There is SO much to do in these parts! Here are some of our top picks and recommendations!
Mount Rainier National Park

Mount Rainier National Park

Ashford, WA 98304

There are different entrances depending on what trail you take. DAY PASS REQUIRED. You can purchase this at the Mt. Rainier entrance. I highly recommend the Skyline Trail. Plan to leave early and arrive at 7 am to beat the crowds and also get an AMAZING view of the morning sky.

Lake Tapps Park

Take a swim in Lake Tapp's fresh mountain water and soak up the sun with views of Mount Rainier in the background. Entry fee $7 per car.

Puyallup Farmers' Market

Puyallup Farmers' Market

330 South Meridian, Puyallup, WA 98371

Saturday mornings only until 2:00 pm. Something fun to do before the wedding! This is in the middle of downtown Puyallup and has a free Splash park and Playground onsite for little ones. Coffee shops and restaurants are abundant in this area. We highly recommend West Pioneer Grill for breakfast!

Museum of Glass

Museum of Glass

1801 Dock Street, Tacoma, WA 98402

Chihuly Glass Display in Tacoma. Amazing and unique glass sculptures! This is a smaller exhibit however if you're near the area and can't visit his Garden and Glass museum in Seattle, I highly recommend going here! They also have the hot shop and you can watch them make the glass sculptures. Kids love this!

Point Defiance Park

Point Defiance Park

5400 North Pearl Street, Tacoma, WA 98407

Don't be fooled, Point Defiance has something for everyone. Owen Beach was recently renovated and is great for families and those who want a view of the coast and those who maybe want to dip in a toe or two. :) Point Defiance is also home to a community ROSE and DAHLIA garden. FREE! Flowers are abundant and beautiful in this part of the country. This garden is a must see for flora and fauna lovers, and even those that aren't. A great spot for pictures! Point Defiance also has many serene spots for a peaceful morning stroll and beautiful chinese gardens lined along the coast. This is also the home of the 5 mile "drive"- which is really a walking route along canopied northwest firs and other species of Pacific Northwest trees.

Point Ruston

Point Ruston

5020 Main Street, Tacoma, WA 98407

Located 30 minutes outside of Sumner and connected to Point Defiance, this is a great place for dining, ice cream, shopping, and walking along the puget sound! A great all around day trip!

For all the days along the way
