Train
For easiest access from NY: Take public transit! Beacon is just a little over an hour from Grand Central Station, with a whopping 32 trains daily. There is also a free shuttle that runs continuously on the weekends to cool sites around the area.
Flight
For out-of-towners: It's easy enough to fly in from NYC (JFK, Laguardia, or Newark) and take the train to Beacon (see above). Alternatively, you can try flying into Albany or Newburgh and renting a car from the airport.
Travel Note
Beacon is also reachable by car (I-84/87), bus (Shoreline from Port Authority) or ship (Seastreak or private charter). Please consider low-carbon methods of transportation.
