Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Casey Graves and Colin McVicker
If you have some down-time before or after our wedding, here are some of our favorite spots around town! We hope you enjoy them as much as we have.
Caldwell Zoo

Caldwell Zoo

2203 West Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, Tyler, TX 75702
, (903) 593-0121

On the very first day that they met in person, Casey and Colin strolled through the Caldwell Zoo and chatted about which animals the two of them most resemble. Colin relates to the giraffe. Casey can remember asking him which animal she looks like, and warning him that it better be a cute one! Kids and adults alike LOVE the Caldwell Zoo! It is definitely worth a visit, short or long!

Tyler Rose Garden

Tyler Rose Garden

420 Rose Park Drive, Tyler, TX 75702
, (903) 531-1212

Here is another sweet place where Casey and Colin went on the first day they met. It is a Tyler landmark! Enjoy some peace and quiet among the roses, right in the heart of town. (Oh, and it's free!)

Boards and Bites Cafe

Boards and Bites Cafe

1851 Troup Highway, Tyler, TX 75701
, (903) 630-5341

Casey and Colin love to play games! Boards and Bites is a simple cafe with sandwiches, lattes, teas, etc., but it also has a library of every board and card game you can imagine! You can pay $5/person and play as many games as you want, for as long as you want! Casey and Colin have spent many a date night at this unique little place.

The Foundry Coffee House

The Foundry Coffee House

202 South Broadway Avenue, Tyler, TX 75702
, (903) 944-7805

The first place Casey and Colin went after getting engaged was the Foundry. That's where they took this lovely photo in front of the bathroom. They have spent many afternoons sipping lattes while they study and work, as well as evenings deep in conversation on the beautiful patio. Park in the garage across the street and enjoy their favorite coffee shop!

Southside Park and Rose Rudman Trail

Southside Park and Rose Rudman Trail

455 Shiloh Road, Tyler, TX 75703
, (903) 531-1370

Southside Park has a wonderful playground and basketball court with tables and benches all around. Plus, it is located on a 2-mile trail called Rose Rudman. Casey has enjoyed this trail all ten years she has lived in Tyler. She and Colin have jogged and walked its length many times throughout their relationship.

Stanley's Famous Pit Barbecue

525 South Beckham Avenue, Tyler, TX 75702
, (903) 593-0311

Everyone agrees: Stanley's has the best BBQ in Tyler!
