Anything extra important I should know about traveling to Colorado?

Drink water!!! Vail sits at over 8,000' above sea level, so drinking water is so important to avoid altitude sickness. Drink extra water before you head out to Colorado, and then keep drinking once you get here. In addition, alcohol will hit you harder than you expect if you're heading in from out of state, so make sure to drink water in between alcoholic drinks. And be sure to pack some sunscreen - that increased altitude decreases protection from the sun, so bring and wear your sunglasses, sunscreen, and chapstick with SPF!

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! We love the littles in our lives and hope to see them at the wedding! There is even a playground next to Donovan Pavilion that they are welcome to use, but please note this is not part of Donovan Pavilion property and thus alcohol cannot be taken to the playground.
