Tamanawas Falls
Check out this 3.3-mile out-and-back trail near Mount Hood Parkdale, Oregon. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 30 min to complete.
Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum (WAAAM)
The WAAAM Air & Auto Museum has one of the largest collections of still-flying antique aeroplanes and still-driving antique automobiles in the country. The items on display at this museum are not only rich in history, but also full of life!
Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum
Interpretive center with multimedia exhibits exploring the natural and cultural history of the Columbia River Gorge. Keep an eye out for a stop-motion animation video created by Mr. Smith's 7th graders!
Drive the Hood River Fruit Loop
Take a scenic drive through the Hood River Valley and enjoy a unique rural farm experience. Along the 35-mile route, you’ll find charming on-the-farm fruit stands, wineries, breweries, cideries, and flower fields. With a rich agricultural history dating back to 1855, the valley is now home to 14,500 acres of pears, apples, and cherries. It’s the perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy fresh local flavors with friends and family.
