The Boardwalk
This is an overwater boardwalk from the Chrysalis Inn to Boulevard Park. It's a lovely walk and has beautiful views. There's a local coffee shop called Wood's Coffee in the park.
Cafe Rumba
A Peruvian restaurant with amazing sandwiches. From their website: "Add some SPICE to your life! A Mexican food truck with super tasty burritos (including breakfast varieties!). They have two locations, so if you're ordering online, be sure to note what location you're ordering for.
Taylor Shellfish Farms
A popular local shellfish distributor and restaurant. From their website: "In 1890, our family began farming shellfish in the waters of the puget sound. Five generations later, we continue to provide our customers with the best shellfish the Pacific Northwest has to offer."
Artist Point
You'll find Artist Point at the end of the Mt. Baker Scenic Byway. The drive is beautiful and at the top there are stunning views of Mt. Shuksan (pictured) and Mt. Baker, as well as a number of hikes.
Chuckanut Drive
Hugging the shoreline just south of Bellingham, WA, Chuckanut Drive is Washington State's original scenic byway. Shown on maps as WA State Highway 11, the route begins at I-5 exit 231 in Burlington and continues 20 miles north to Bellingham. This is a favorite and historic entry into Whatcom County. At milepost 14, Chuckanut Drive passes Larrabee State Park, the first designated State Park in Washington. With access to the beach, tide pools, and trails, and encompassing 2,000+ acres, Larrabee is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
