This has EVERYTHING. Restaurants, maps, etc
A Naperville landmark. Whether you want ice cream, candy, or a scoop of cookie dough that won't make your stomach hurt...this is a "must experience." If you time it right, you might get to see a high school love story begin or end.
Naperville's independent bookstore. When all the best authors visit town, they come to Andersons and avoid the big name bookstores! A wonderfully curated selection of books and gifts. The booksellers at Andersons are top notch and have never missed the mark on a book recommendation.
Spitting distance from the hotel, this coffee shop has a cult following and is better than Starbucks any day of the week.
This is one of our favorite BBQ places that also has a location in Oak Park where Caryn lived. The burnt ends and Brussels Sprouts are to die for.
Home of the Kitchen Sink sundae! If you finish it, you get a bumper sticker! While it's been redone a few times since the early 90's, the timeout corner Caryn sat in a lot is still there. According to anonymous sources, the creepy clown that would sometimes visit tables has retired. Phew!
If you need to mail a package, purchase a wheelchair, compression stockings, or find a great toy...visit Oswalds, Naperville's first pharmacy! Also, they have the best jigsaw puzzle selection in the area. Seriously, there was an article written about the puzzles.
A frequent request of Adalie and Amelia when they stay at Pop & Bebe's. Lots of things to do for kids of all ages, but not so big as to cause panic attacks amongst parents.
Climb the 253 stairs up to the top of "Spatula Tower" for some of the best views of Naperville. Get a workout in before the wedding! There are also elevators. :)
While Lou's isn't exclusive to Naperville, this location is SUPER special. It's in the old Naperville fire station! People have Lou's shipped all over the country. One of Naperville's most popular eateries, we recommend calling ahead. CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA IS THE BEST!
While you probably couldn't convince anyone who grew up in Naperville or the surrounding suburbs to visit willingly (soooooo many school field trips), it's a great place to learn some history and maybe churn some butter.
A must do! This is Naperville's crown jewel. Take a long or short walk, stop at one of the playgrounds, sit on a bench and people watch, just don't feed the ducks.
We named our dog after this spice shop. It's delightful.
Another Chicago institution! Chicago style dogs, italian beef, and if your blood sugar can handle it....a chocolate shake with a piece of cake crushed up in it. Also, the chopped salad has a cult following.
This was Caryn's favorite library branch growing up. On the upper level is a miniature library (like dollhouse size) that is always fun to look at.
Right underneath the hotel, this restaurant is DELICIOUS. Most of the meetings between Caryn and Linda ( the wedding planner) took place here. Their elotes dip and fish tacos are TO DIE FOR. If you want a mocktail, get the Limonada.
