Things To Do

There is a ton going on in Miami the weekend of our wedding - you will not be bored!

Miracle Mile & Downtown Coral Gables

220 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, FL 33134

Near the hotel blocks is downtown Coral Gables or "Miracle Mile" with restaurants, bars and shops. Restaurants/bars to enjoy: - Motek - Pisco y Nazca - Craft Coral Gables - Grazianos - Cortadito Coffee - Bodega Taqueria - Bulla Gastropub - John Martin's Irish Pub & Restaurant - Threefold Cafe (breakfast) - The Cafe at Books & Books

Coconut Grove Arts Festival

3390 Mary Street, Miami, FL 33133

Local art vendors and food stalls fill the downtown area of Coconut Grove this weekend only! Coconut Grove also has great restaurants, boutiques, and coffee shops. A few places to enjoy food/drinks: - Monty’s - Bayshore Club - Jaguar Restaurant - Planta Queen - Glass & Vine - Carbone Vino - Claudie - Sadelle’s - Ariete - Greenstreet Cafe

Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show

1 Herald Plaza, Miami, FL 33132

See and tour boats and yachts of all sizes! Traffic is very heavy around the boat show and parking is non existent! We recommend getting an Uber/taxi there from wherever you are staying.

Little Havana / Calle Ocho "8th Street"

FL

Visit the center of the Cuban diaspora in Miami! Try Cuban food, cigars and listen to live Cuban music! A few restaurants we like include: - Cafe La Trova (live music and cocktails) - Versailles Restaurant - La Carreta.

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park

1200 Crandon Boulevard, Key Biscayne, FL 33149

If you want to do some biking, kayaking or visiting the beach, Key Biscayne is a great option versus trekking it all the way to South Beach. As it is one road in and out of Key Biscayne do plan accordingly as traffic gets heavy after 2pm.

Wynwood Walls

2516 Northwest 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33127

Wynwood is a gentrified area within the last decade. It now has trendy restaurants, street art and boutiques! Make sure to walk around and look at the magnificent art on the Walls! Restaurants/bars in the neighborhood to enjoy: - Le Chick - Pastis - Coyo Tacos - Doya

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens

3251 South Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33129

Beautiful and historical estate and grounds with a local farmers market nearby.

South Pointe Park and Ocean Drive, South Beach

1 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139

If you want to see the beautiful blue waters and iconic art deco buildings of South Beach, this is the place! You can access the beach anywhere along Ocean Drive, but South Pointe Pier is our favorite and arguably the most beautiful. Restaurants/bars to enjoy: - Monty's (sunset cocktails) - Abbale - Joe's Stone Crab (legendary Miami Beach restaurant, and Cary's favorite!) - Call Me Gaby (Shanna's favorite) - Santorini's - Smith & Wollensky - Big Pink (brunch)

Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science

1101 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33132

Great for adults and families!

Pérez Art Museum Miami

1103 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33132

Miami Children's Museum

980 MacArthur Causeway, Miami, FL 33132

Venetian Pool Miami

2701 De Soto, Boulevard, Coral Gables, FL 33134

The Venetian Pool is fed by spring water from an underground aquifer and is refilled daily, with over 820,000 gallons of water. The pool features two waterfalls and cave-like grottos for a fun experience for all swimmers.

For all the days along the way
