Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
Please have phones put away during the ceremony as we want the photographer to be able to do her job without cellphones making their way into photos. Party on at the reception and you may take as many photos/videos you want to remember the night!!! 💃🏼 There will also be a photo booth!

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
We ask that our guests do not bring anyone that is not specifically named on their invitation. There is a limit on guests we can invite, so we are unable to accommodate unknown plus ones. Thank you so much for understanding!

What do I wear?
Answer
Semi-formal/dressy casual attire. Starched jeans are acceptable for men.

Do I need to RSVP on the website or by mail?
Answer
It doesn’t matter! There is an RSVP card with the invitations that you can stamp and mail back or just scan the QR code on it which will take you to the website RSVP page. Please just do one or the other. We appreciate you letting us know if you can or cannot make it. (We hope you can make it! It’s going to be a beautiful, happy, and fun evening!)

By September 16, 2024 so we can let our vendors know our final count.

What is parking like at the venue?
Answer
There is a parking lot onsite for people to park in, but we are also working on getting a shuttle service to and from the Best Western in Emory (more info on travel page) for people who want a ride!

Where do I stay if I’m from out of town?
Answer
In the travel section of our website, I have this information for you! The Best Western in Emory, Texas is the closest hotel to the venue with only a 5 minute drive.

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?
Answer
It will be an outdoor ceremony but if there is inclement weather, the venue will move the ceremony inside for us. Please pray for a sunny, warm, not so windy day!

How hot will it be?
Answer
Although Texas weather changes whenever it wants to, usually the high is in the 70s in late October here.

Am I allowed to bring children?
Answer
We are having children at our wedding. If your invitation says "your name + family", your children are included. We just ask you include them on your RSVP so we know how much food we will need to provide. Also, we can’t promise that all music requests will be kid friendly as the night goes on so just keep that in mind. You can always make it a date night!

What type of food will be served?
Answer
Texas BBQ, you may choose between pulled pork or smoked brisket (you will be able to choose your preference on your RSVP). IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN, please reach out to us and let us know!
