Within a month of us officially being a couple, God equally convicted us both with the desire to head to Texas and respond to the Hill Country flooding. (I also got food poisoning on the way down.) -S

Watching each other serve, minister to, and pursue the broken hearted was a green flag for both of us. We fell more deeply in love with each other & most importantly- Jesus. -S

That time I got an IV 2 days in a row & poked 4 times. A couple days later I had to bribe Steph to get a tetanus shot before leaving Texas. -C

A stranger with a film camera asked if she could take our picture while we were leaving brunch with family & friends following Carter's proposal. She found me on socials and sent it to me! -S

A look back on our first time going to church together. During that service, I wrote myself a letter that talked about stepping into Christ's newness. The church just sent it back to me last week. -S

This was taken before one of our dinner dates early on. I sent it to my mom and dad- dad (who normally sends a "thumbs up") responded with, "I haven't seen you smile like that in a very long time." -S

After that very same date night. Still cheesing! -S

Carter's first time in Pennsylvania was on the fourth of July. We had friends over and watched the fireworks, & he met my parents for the first time. They loved him immediately. -S

My two best friends were very involved in Carter's proposal. Olivia took all of our pictures, and Becca brought along fake nails because she knew if she asked me to get them done I'd be suspicious. -S

I get to marry an amazing woman. -C

We paddle-boarded Shem Creek the morning of my birthday. We saw a huge sea turtle, dolphins, & even alligators in Charleston. He took me to Magnolia Plantation and we did all of my favorite things. -S

If you look closely you can see a bee that photo bombed us. This was one of our many dates around Franklin. -C

This was the very first time I met Carter. I drove home from that weekend and texted my sister-in-law & mom, "I just met my husband. I'm going to marry him." 8 months later, that's still the plan. -S

This is the smile I fall in love with more and more each and every day. -C

Carter caught my eye with fish pics and a mustache. He won my heart through his love for Christ & his unwavering humility. I am in love with his kindness towards all & his gentleness towards me. -S

Many of our dates in Kentucky take us to Nashville. Never for more than a few hours, and we always seem to end up at Hank's Boogie Bar. This particular night, Carter gave me my promise ring. -S
