My mom, my heart, my guardian angel. I would not be here today without her. She’s gotten me out of trouble more times than I can count and has been there for me when I had no clue how to handle what was going on in my life. She was iffy about Carter at first but can see how much he loves me and how much I love him in return. She’s given me advice on how to traverse our relationship in rocky times and has helped us out when things were getting difficult. She knows times are tough and she still tells me to this day that I’ll always be her baby girl. I don’t know what I would do without her. She truly is a saint and a blessing. ❤️
Athena
Mother of the Groom
Athena takes the role of mother in law seriously, and she’s been one of the best mothers I’ve ever met. I was nervous to meet her at first but found her kind and welcoming personality relaxing after getting to know her. She’s a joy to be around and I will admit fun to gossip with as well 😂. She’s not only our florist but someone we’ve asked for advice regarding the wedding, our careers, our cat Frankie, everything and anything. She’s a go big or go home kind of gal and having that in common with her helps me breathe when I think I’m doing too much. She raised Carter well, teaching him to respect people but still stand your ground, to be generous but not let people take advantage of you and to show love wherever possible. 🦋

Maid of Honor
Kalie and I met after I started dating Carter. She was already friends with him and his group when we started hanging out. After a while we had a falling out but we grew stronger and more mature because of it. Now she’s one of my right hand girls. I trust her opinion and she actively listens to mine and tells me the truth if I’m going overboard. She’s the calm in the middle of the storm and I’m ecstatic to have her back in my life 🌻
Jessica
Matron of Honor
Jessica is a few years older but one of my role models. I always looked up to her as a kid and seeing her now with her beautiful family only furthers that role for me. She may have been a crazy teenager but she came around and I hope to have a beautiful marriage and family like hers one day. I didn’t know how to plan anything regarding my wedding but she’s been a huge help. She’s given me ideas, a guide to follow and even recommended the shop where I said yes to my dress! 👗

Katie is my niece, but more importantly she’s my best friend. She’s been there through all of the awful and through all of the amazing times. Having hospital visits, to my dad passing away, working the same jobs, to getting engaged she’s been by my side. I couldn’t plan this wedding without her, and I couldn’t be more proud of everything she’s accomplished. From dress shopping to planning the bachelorette party, I trust her with it all 💙
Sena

I grew up going to church with Sena. It always seemed like she was ten steps ahead. She’s always been a leader and I tried to follow that. We grew apart as we became teenagers but she’ll always be soul sister. If I didn’t have a friend like her I’m not sure where I would’ve ended up. She was a cornerstone for me and I’ll be forever grateful that God put her in my life. 🌷

Bre is Carter’s little sister and has come to be like my own little sister. She’s grown into such an independent, smart, and kind woman. When it comes to make up and style she’s a genius, but her true talents lie in her passion to become a vet. I can’t wait to see where life takes us together as we officially become a family. 🌹
Alex
Best Man
Alex is one of our closest friends. He and Carter have known each other since high school and Alex has been there in some of our toughest times. He’s helped me when my car has broken down, picked us up after we got into a crash, helped make sure we had food when times were hard and he’s been a protective big brother to me. Despite his hard exterior, Alex is a very caring individual, though he tries to hide it. He also lets Carter know when he’s digging his own grave and tries to help him out of it😂
Ryan

Carter has known Ryan since high school but now days I like to think I’m closer to him than Carter is 😂. He’s taught both of us a lot about cars, how to be mature and how to handle life as an adult. While Ryan is more quiet and reserved we still have a good time when he’s around. Simple, easy going days are sometimes a must when life gets hectic. We couldn’t do life without Ryan, he lets us know when we’re thinking too much and when we need to take action.
Keelan

What to say about Keelan… Carter and Keelan have been friends since childhood, they’re more like brothers really. Even when Keelan does some pretty stupid stuff, Carter’s there to pull him out of the weeds; and vice versa. When Carter or I are falling apart, Keelan’s there to talk us through it. Whether it’s an anxiety attack or a quarter life crisis, he’s there for comfort and distressing. While he’s a pretty laid back guy, he can go into over protective mode pretty quickly. Carter would say he can’t get married without his best friend, and he’s right.
Tanner

Cater and Tanner go way back. They met online while gaming and have stuck with each other ever since. While Tanner and I didn’t get along right away, I’d like to think we’re good friends now. Tanner is the kind of guy who won’t sugar coat things for you but would still be there to make sure you’re doing alright. He seems to always know what to say, and maybe that because he’s been through it himself or maybe it’s because he’s able to look at it with neutral eyes, either way we’re blessed to have him with us. He has a sixth sense about him, being able to tell almost right away a persons true intentions. It’s that kind of foresight that we need in our life as Carter and I have a tendency to be very trusting very quickly.
Nick

We met Nick online a few years ago and he grown to be one of our closest friends. Originally from South Carolina, we persuaded him to move down to Texas to be closer with all his friends. We’ve gone through our rough patches in the friendship but overall life would just be more difficult and a lot less fun without Nick. He’s the life of the party, the guy who takes the edge off when tensions are high, and our resident comedian. One day this man will be a pilot and a dang good one at that. He inspired me to go after my own goals and has been there when Carter and I would fight, telling us how ridiculous we were being. You can’t find a guy more lovable and passionate than Nick.
