We've searched Charlottesville for reasonably priced, reasonably located blocks of rooms. Turns out, hotels in the middle of spring are expensive in Charlottesville!
The easiest and probably most cost-efficient option is AirBnB. There are lots of cool spots close to downtown Charlottesville, often at better prices than hotels.
Here are some hotels near downtown where we did reserve blocks of rooms. They tend to have more price variety if you aren't booking a block of rooms, so you may be better off calling individually without mentioning our block. Additionally, they sometimes actually get cheaper closer to the date, if you want to play that game.
