Carter was almost named Spencer. Ironic that his best friend would be someone so similar to him named Spencer. A friendship that started on the baseball mound in high school evolving yet again as he stands next to Carter on his wedding day.

Damita and Brenda met while pursuing journalism degrees at Northwestern. Damita's generous heart, fervent faith and intelligence caught Brenda's eye. Their friendship was cemented in Argentina when the pair mistakenly shared a honeymoon suite during a class trip. They ended up producing a stellar documentary and continue building a friendship of love, trust and admiration.

Mark and Carter met in elementary school. A friendship built on respect and love for sports that has withstood the test of time. Mark and Carter love to frequent ballparks, hockey rinks, soccer fields and the occasional bars. Their friendship is one Carter values and knows will last a lifetime.

Who knew a temporary part-time job would lead to a lifelong friendship. Brenda met Sam at Lakeview Athletic Club in Chicago. From quick chats at the front desk to after work drinks and pool parties that always led to insightful revelations and vulnerable conversations, Brenda found a true friend and confidant in Sam and could think of no one she'd rather have by her side on her special day.

Max and Carter have been friends since high school. Carter takes pride in the fact he and Max have never gotten into an argument. Max recently graduated from college and will be joining the Navy Seals in November.

Emma and Brenda were both recruited to play tennis in college, but it was the friendship that formed off the court that would carry the pair through the highs and lows of college. Years later that friendship remains strengthened by the tears and laughs they shared and will share again as their friendship evolves with every life milestone...Here's to the next one.

Dom is Carter's wildest friend. He's known as the guy that forms the parties. One of Carter's best life experiences happened when he and Dom went to Chicago for Summer Smash. Carter is excited to celebrate yet another milestone memory with his best friend by his side.

From sharing clothes to planning pre-games and movie nights, Cassidy is the friend every college girl deserves. Brenda met Cassidy her freshman year of college and immediately knew they would be lifelong friends no matter what. Fun fact: Brenda set up Cassidy with her now husband Jarod in college. The pair have welcomed in the cutest baby boy named Jace.

Affectionately known by Carter and their friends as their "Guatemalan King" Will has a passion for fitness and Pokemon and making his friends laugh. Will's spirit and adventurous nature has led to memories Carter will never forget and often thinks back on. Here's to one more memory.

Father of the Bride
The patriarch of the Ordonez family, Marco's unequivocal love and sacrifice for his family has provided a foundation for them to prosper and chase their dreams. Growing up, Brenda loved spending time with her dad. They watched Tele-Tubbies, played tennis or one of her favorites: went to the grocery store. Marco would always buy her whatever candy and ice cream she wanted. Her favorite was Baby Bottle Pops, a nickname Brenda would pick up that now serves as a reminder of the bond she and her dad share.

What is there to say…Andy is one of Carter’s best friends. Bonded by a love of sports, the pair have been to hundreds of games over the years, and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Carter truly cherishes every second spent with his dad, and knows he’ll be crying tears of joy come October.

As the years go by, Brenda is reminded of how lucky she is to have a mom like Anabel. Her unwavering support, generous spirit and creative mind fostered a childhood of laughter and love that paved the way for the person Brenda is today. Anabel led by example every day, overcoming every obstacle, excelling at every job, helping those in need without fail. As Brenda embarks on her next chapter of being a wife and hopefully mother, she hopes to be just like Anabel.

Carter and Mimi have a special bond. Something Carter always mentions about his mom is her unwavering ability to support him no matter what, in all walks of life. Whenever he has a life question or is struggling, Carter knows Mimi will always have the answer. He often credits his mom with never being wrong, because mothers always know.

Marco is Brenda's eldest brother- and always acted like it. From scaring away Brenda's high school boyfriends to picking on her and bossing her around, Marco took his role very seriously. Marco is a foodie at heart. It's a quality Brenda most appreciates about him. The pair have bonded over food more times than they can count. Brenda is excited to share one more meal with her brother at her wedding.

Carson is the great equalizer. Comfortable in any situation, it’s something that Carter truly values about his youngest brother. Carson brings laughter and sarcasm to just about any scenario. Again, one of Carter’s favorite memories with Carson came in March, when he joined Dad for Reds Opening Day. Even though he nearly sheered off Carter’s leg with a jet ski on the San Fransisco Family Trip , Carter couldn’t imagine a world without his quirky little brother.

Though they had their differences when they were little, Cameron’s bond with Carter has grown stronger over the last few years. Both brothers are family-driven, and nothing is more fun than when the bros are all hanging out together. One of Carter’s favorite memories with Cameron came recently, when they dined at Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse — a place like heaven for the meat lover that is Cameron.

As kids Ian paid Brenda 25 cents to clean his room. He convinced her it was a steal. Ian also stole her diary- multiple times- using her secrets against her. For Brenda, it was a childhood of manual labor and torment at the hands of her brother Ian. Her greatest adversary. But somewhere along the way that all changed. Ian has become Brenda's closest friend and confidant. He listens to all her "drama." He answers all her life questions. He is her voice of reason, even when she doesn't want it. Ian's joy, wisdom and forgiveness transcends understanding. Brenda is blessed to know Ian and is honored to have him officiate the wedding.
