At Last

This love story starts in the most modern teenage way: Carter "slid" into Ailie's DMs (direct message) via Instagram. After a summer of fun these two rivalry school sweethearts called it official on August 1st 2018. He was the hockey player, she was the dancer. Each winter you could catch Ailie at many Champlin Park Rebel hockey games and Carter at countless dance competitions. They love to support each other in all of their endeavors. After Carter's gap year and Ailie graduated high school in 2020 they took a huge leap and moved in with each other, all the way across the country, in FLORIDA! For the past 5 years (minus one where they resided in Osseo, MN) Carter and Ailie have been growing in love and their careers by the Gulf Coast. You cannot forget about their babies... fur babies that is! In 2021 they adopted their first kitten, Marley. The sweetest angel boy made them love cats so much they adopted another in 2022. Marley and Mimi are their current pride and joys and have been the perfect additions to their little family. Now here's what everyone wants to know.. how did he propose? If you know Carter you know he can be very spontaneous. One fine Monday in June Ailie came home from work and Carter told her to get ready because he made plans. He picked her up for dinner and took Ailie to one of their favorite restaurants by the water. Following dinner they went to Fort Myers Beach to watch the sunset. Ailie was picking sea shells and Carter was trying to make sure nobody was sitting too close to our beach towels! When the sun was setting and the time couldn't have been more perfect. Carter pulled Ailie closer to the water and got down on one knee. She said YES and the rest is history!
