Two worlds collided when they both ended up meeting by chance in the cafeteria of Berklee College of Music. Charlotte (who can never sit still) picked up a part time job to keep herself busy (if you know, you know) and Vaughn Errick "Jordan" decided to leave behind everything he knew in Ohio to chase his dream of being a professional musician. One day, while Charlotte was working and Jordan was hanging with friends in the cafeteria, he invited her to see his band play at Tommy Doyle's (again...if you know, you know). Charlotte got some friends together to go to the show and quickly became Jordan's life long groupie. The two became friends, eventually living together as roommates and their friendship blossomed into more a few years later. The rest is history!
During the 2020 quarantine, Charlotte and Jordan decided to keep their love alive by creating "date days" in which they would take turns planning fun events to enjoy each other's company. Little did Charlotte know, this would be the perfect set up for Jordan to pop the big question! It was Jordan's turn in August to plan a date day and he told Charlotte they would have a picnic at Piers Park in East Boston. He got lobster rolls (Charlotte's favorite summertime treat!) and brought along a variety of games for them to play in the park. They decided to play a card game for couples. Coincidentally and unplanned, Jordan pulled a card in which he was instructed to ask Charlotte "If I was to change one thing about your daily routine what would I change?" Charlotte responded, " I don't know, you would probably make me stop asking for foot rubs". Jordan laughed, "close, but no! I would actually change you from only being my girlfriend". Then he pulled a box from out of the picnic basket and got down on one knee. "I would make you my wife. Will you marry me?". Teary eyed, Charlotte said YES! Right then, Jordan shouted, "She said yes, guys!" and a wave of cheers erupted from a group of friends and family who had come to watch the surprise!
